What's this? The hostel is located in an old Italian villa from , located on the main square. We have restored everything and are now up and running. But we always need some handy people who can help improve our place! It is the first and only hostel for backpackers in town. Durres is a city that is not crowded with tourists like Tirana. It is calm, peaceful, and full of local people.
It is a wonderful atmosphere to go on an evening stroll through city center, or along the boardwalk. The local fresh market is a wonderful experience. Local, organic, and also imported vegetables, fruit, dairy, spices, teas, beans, meat, etc. Durres is a good base for taking day trips to nearby towns of interest. There are several beaches close by.
And small mountains around too. With an easy hike, you can get to a high point with amazing views of the sea and city. We need a few volunteers to help us out at our very special hostel during the next months. More and more guests are coming to beautiful Albania. We manage a hostel, and in the adjacent garden we have a local summer bar, open between June and October, with entrance on the main square.
We can use helpers with a variety of skills. Most important reception help, keeping the guests happy and keep the place clean. Do you have any fix-it, handy-man, or construction abilities? We are looking into some changes in our bar, and help is needed! There are always few repairs to do as well, if you are willing and able.
Do any of those sound good to you? We will provide you with accommodation in one of our comfortable dorms, wifi, use of the washing machine, and breakfast. Life here is relaxed, happy, and peaceful.
