A Wollongong woman has admitted trying to shakedown a "sugar daddy" she met on the internet while they had sex at her mother's house. Shannon Haynes first met the year-old man in early October via the dating website Seeking Arrangement - which facilitates "sugar baby" and "sugar daddy" meetings in exchange for money and an allowance. Haynes, who goes by the name Sienna on the website and appears to have only signed up three days before the incident, describes herself as a "fun, smart and sexy blonde bombshell" with "a killer hourglass figure" in her profile.

They resumed having sex but Haynes stopped again a short time later and asked for more money. The man said Haynes was sending messages on her phone at the time and told him she was buying drugs. Haynes then asked the victim if they could go to an ATM so he could get more money.
He refused, but said he could pay her more next time they met. Haynes told the man he wasn't leaving the house, got up from where she'd been sitting and phoned her co-offender, Michael Sullivan.
The victim started getting dressed but was interrupted when Sullivan and another man, Justin Diaz, arrived at the house. Diaz was armed with a tomahawk. The man agreed to leave with the two attackers and accompany them to an ATM however was able to escape to his car and drive off when they walked outside the house.
The man drove to Corrimal Police Station and contacted triple zero. He was later taken to Wollongong Hospital for treatment to a de-gloving wound to his ear. The two men have subsequently pleaded guilty to charges of reckless wounding in company and using an offensive weapon with intent to intimidate. They will be sentenced on August 9. Haynes on Wednesday pleaded guilty to a charge of demanding property with intent to steal.
