School Spirit unites the students and teachers. It encourages the girls to work together, be adventurous, creative and proud of who they are. A strong focus is placed on our values: Respect, Participation and Pride. Every student belongs to one of four houses. Each house is named after an historical figure of significance.
Batten green , Freyberg red , Mansfield yellow , Rutherford blue. Belonging to a House enhances school spirit. Inter-House competitions are held throughout the year starting with athletics and swimming. Lunchtime activities are also run by the Sports Council where classes can compete in Inter-House or class challenges to vie for bragging rights and house points.
Bat-down, crash-pad rounders, dodgeball, hockey, lip-synch, netball, theatre sports are just some of the activities to create that school spirit and build positive relationships between our senior and junior girls. Our school offers activities for all students and their interests.
These include all things cultural, musical and sports orientated.
