Springs police have released the names and mug shots of six men arrested and convicted of soliciting a prostitute. It's part of a crackdown on the commercial sex trade in the Pikes Peak area. The Human Trafficking Investigation Team was formed last year. The Colorado Springs Police Department said they've already made multiple arrests for crimes such as pimping, prostitution and soliciting a prostitute. Some of the charges are felonies, others are misdemeanors.
Police say they are releasing information on people who are convicted of soliciting a prostitute in an effort to reduce the demand for commercialized sex trade.
